Arin is a nationally certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). In addition to his certifications, Arin is an alumnus of California State University, Northridge where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History and an Associate degree in Physical Education. He is currently working towards his Master of Science in Kinesiology.

Training Specialization


Arin specializes in training for basketball, soccer, and youth fitness, however, has had success meeting the needs of a more general population seeking improvements in weight, strength, and overall body composition.

As a former middle-school basketball coach and high-school basketball athlete himself, Arin has several years experience working with competitive athletes in designing and implementing sports-specific functional training programs that are needed in today’s dynamic performers.

Clients include individuals seeking weight-loss and conditioning to competitive and youth athletes seeking increases in strength, endurance and balance.Arin Personal Training

Currently, Arin serves as a fitness trainer for FitKids-LA, an organization committed to helping students complete their Physical Education credits through exercise while empowering them with a fundamental knowledge of fitness that will last beyond the classroom. To achieve the benefits of a healthy body during adulthood, a firm understanding of fitness must be demonstrated to teenagers and younger populations – one that incorporates physical exercise and stresses the importance of such program.

Taking this background and experience with him to Pasadena’s famous Classic Kickboxing Fitness Studio, Arin has respectfully established a versatile resume of clients from both healthy and special needs populations in all age groups – programming specialized workouts for athletic training, strength and core training, weight management, and cardiovascular endurance.

Training Approach

Training is like building a house. One cannot start with the roof and must begin from the ground up. To cover all the bases, workout programs usually begin with a Conditioning Phase (2-6 weeks) followed by Hypertrophy (2-6 weeks), Strength (2-6 weeks), Power (2-6 weeks), and later Endurance (2-6 weeks) in this exact order. Each program is specially designed to fit the client’s precise abilities, goals, strengths, and weaknesses. In Addition to the training, each client will be responsible for performing programmed self-workouts (usually cardiovascular) to complement the training sessions. Philosophy: Your body is made to move. Movement is essential to everything you do in your life and it is important that you keep the muscular, skeletal, and sensory-motor systems active at all times. Movement, therefore, must be synonymous with eating and breathing. The human body was not made to sit on a desk from 9 to 5 everyday, hence why it is imperative people find ways to incorporate fitness into their lifestyle. To sporadically fit inconsistent workouts in a busy lifestyle seldom does any justice for the well-being of the body.

In addition, should there be a conflict in scheduling or lack of open training slots, Arin may refer personal training to a fitness professional whose schedule may be more compatible with yours.

Arin specializes in sports-specific training for basketball, soccer, and youth fitness. As a former high-school athlete and boy’s middle-school basketball coach, Arin has several years experience designing and implementing sports-specific functional programs.

In addition to sports-specific training and youth fitness, Arin offers one-one-one personal training for individuals seeking management in weight, increases in strength, and improvements in cardiovascular capacity.


Michael MillsMichael Mills

Michael Mills is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). In addition to kickboxing, Michael has extensive experience and background for specialized programming in strength training, cardiovascular training, and weight management.

Michael brings his expertise to Classic Kickboxing & Fitness after several years experience with Equinox in Pasadena, CA. Michael offers both one-on-one personal training and kickboxing.



Alastair Martin

Alastair Martin

Alastair Martin is a certified personal trainer through the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA). Alastair has experience in both personal training and Spin Group Classes for healthy populations throughout various health clubs in Southern California – including Equinox, 24-Hour Fitness, and Spectrum.

In addition to personal training and group classes, Alastair specializes in the Martial Arts. His pride and passion is Capoeira (Brazilian martial arts and dance) in which he offers both Capoeira classes and private one-on-one lessons at Classic Kickboxing in Pasadena, CA.

Jason Kozma brings more than 20 years of experience to help you reach your individual goals: Be it weight loss and tone, strength and size, or athletic enhancement. He has worked with professional athletes from various sports as well as celebrities, bodybuilders and fitness competitors, and regular folk. Jason is a competitive bodybuilder who has won the following titles: Mr. America, Mr. Muscle Beach, Southern States Champion, Tennessee Valley Champion, Kentucky Derby Champion.

Jason currently provides his services in Santa Monica. All Westside (Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Century City, Santa Monica) personal training inquiries and requests will be directed to Jason Kozma.
